Dr. Neiman and Rick Harrison on the Pawn Stars episode, "Spare the Rodman." |
On last night's episode of Pawn Stars "Spare the
Rodman" Dr. Neiman heads into the pawn shop looking to sell a 1950s BMC
pedal tractor.
He received the pedal tractor as a birthday present when he was only three years old. Rick explains to Dr. Neiman that back in the 1950s the pedal tractor cost about $20, which was quite a bit back then. Rick really likes the item but since it's old now (needs a new paint job and the wheel doesn't turn all the way), he feels it needs to be restored. Dr. Neiman is looking to sell the item for $300, but Rick counters with only a $50 offer, much to the displeasure of Dr. Neiman. Dr. Neiman then asks for $150 and Rick ups his offer to $60 and the two agree on that amount.
Outside the shop Dr. Neiman feels that Rick may have been trying to "low ball" him. Although Dr. Neiman seems disappointed with the amount he sold it for, he does seem to be relieved to have the pedal tractor off his hands.
